MitoQ
A shortened form of the antioxidant ubiquinol (a CoQ10) with the addition of an ion called Triphenylphosphonium, which gives it a positive charge.
These two modifications enable MitoQ to pass through the mitochondrial membrane, where it provides a payload of free radical defence and helps optimise the energy production process.

Green Lip Mussel Extract (GLME)
GLME is a highly-purified marine lipid extract, which contains a unique blend of natural oils, esters and sterols and is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.
GLME is able to help support healthy levels of immune system chemicals called ‘leukotrienes’, which are important for maintaining normal joint function and mobility.

Can I take more than one kind of MitoQ?
Yes, depending on your health goals, you can combine different MitoQ formulae.
For example, you can combine MitoQ Heart and MitoQ Blood Sugar or MitoQ Liver and MitoQ Eye.
Is GLME the same as fish oil?
No, GLME is a highly-purified marine lipid extract, obtained by a special solvent-free process from New Zealand Green Lipped Mussels (Perna Canaliculus). GLME contains a blend of dozens of natural oils, esters and sterols, unique to the Green Lipped Mussel, and is rich in omega-3 fatty acids.
Can I take it if I have fish or shellfish allergy?
Shellfish allergies are caused by proteins found in the shellfish. GLME is a pure lipid (oil) extract which contains no proteins, so it should be safe for those with shellfish allergies. We do recommend however, that people with shellfish allergies consult their doctor before using MitoQ Joint. We recommend those with severe shellfish allergies consider one of the other supplements in our range.
Is it vegetarian?
MitoQ Joint contains oil from shellfish (Perna Canaliculus) and the Softgel capsules contain gelatin. It is therefore not suitable for vegetarians.
What is the difference between MitoQ Joint and other omega-3 products on the market?
MitoQ Joint contains world renown MitoQ, a special patented formulation of the antioxidant CoQ10 as well as GLME, the highly purified marine lipid extract containing a blend of dozens of natural oils, esters and sterols, unique to the Green Lipped Mussel. No other Omega-3 product contains MitoQ.
Usage Directions
