As hormone levels drop or become unbalanced many people turn to hormone replacement therapy recommended by their doctors. Hormone replacement therapy, or HRT, can help both men and women when certain hormone levels drop, but its most frequently used to relieve menopausal symptoms.
Bioidentical hormones are manufactured from plant estrogens and chemically identical to the ones made in the body. The FDA has approved some of these hormones, including the bioidentical estriol, a weak form of estrogen. Estriol is the highest hormone circulating in a pregnant women's blood, and low estriol levels may indicate the possibility of specific congenital disabilities.
AllVia Estriol is a transdermal, topical cream made from estriol USP, a reference for uniform preparation. It is unscented, free of synthetics, non-greasy for excellent absorption in a pre-measured pump delivering .75 mg of Estriol USP.
Usage Directions
Suggested Use: Apply once or twice a day or as recommended by your health care practitioner. Dispense cream into the palm of your hand and rub onto the skin of your chest, abdomen, inner arms or thighs - rotating area each time.
Ingredients:
Purified Water, Glycerin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil, Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera Gel), Stearic Acid, Glyceryl Stearate, Isopropyl Palmitate, Stearyl Alcohol, Phenoxyethanol and Caprylyl Glycol, Estriol, Oenothera Biennis (Evening Primrose) Oil, Lecithin, Potassium Sorbate, Cimicifuga Racemosa Root, and Sodium Bicarbonate.
Warnings:
For external use only, Avoid contact with eyes. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation, redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use and consult a licensed health-care practitioner.
