The 4 tests, part of our Safe Box program, address 71% of the infections occurring in the U.S. excluding the country’s leader, HPV. Factoid: Out of all new STI cases every year, Chlamydia is the 2nd, Trich is the 3rd, and Gonorrhea is the 4th most common in the U.S. All are curable when detected early.
Being symptom-free does not mean you or your partner are not infected! As many as 80% of people carrying an STI may not show symptoms. Extended incubation periods for some conditions also mean you may not be able to detect an infection for up to 6 months from the time of exposure. Please Note: Trich testing is very accurate for women. Men can be carriers and asymptomatic, and none the less, can infect their partners. Trich testing is slightly less accurate in men than women, and as a result, men may have more false positive and false negative test results than women. For most comprehensive results, we recommend including trich in your regular testing options.
